Trainer Katarina Leisinger brings over 12 years of experience in the equine industry, with a competitive background reaching up to the FEI levels — including being selected for the FEI Junior NAYC team. Growing up surrounded by horses, Katarina developed a versatile foundation across disciplines such as western, trail riding, jumping, lower-level eventing, and, of course, dressage.

From her early days as a stable hand and working student to her role as assistant trainer, Katarina has gained a deep, hands-on understanding of horsemanship and training. Now as head trainer at KVL Dressage, she channels that experience into helping horses and riders find connection, confidence, and joy in their work.

While specializing in dressage, Katarina’s programs emphasize a well-rounded education tailored to each horse and rider’s individual needs. With extensive experience working with stallions, young horses, and those that are a bit “quirky” or unconventional, she thrives on bringing out the best in every horse — no matter their temperament or background.
